From Thursday, August 7 through Sunday, August 10, 2025, members of United OPSA USA gathered in Minneapolis/St. Paul, Minnesota, for the organization’s 11th Annual Convention. Hosted by the Minnesota Chapter, the convention brought Queen sisters together from across the United States to strengthen the bonds of sisterhood, celebrate their shared heritage, conduct the business of the association, and renew their commitment to Queen of the Rosary College, Okoyong.

Thursday welcomed Queens arriving in Minnesota and provided an opportunity to reconnect with old friends and sisters. The evening continued with Praise & Worship, beginning the convention in a spirit of faith, gratitude, and fellowship.

Friday combined faith, fellowship, culture, and fun. The day included Holy Mass, followed by a memorable cruise, where members enjoyed time together in the beautiful Twin Cities. The evening featured Cultural Night, celebrating the traditions, fashion, music, and cultural heritage that remain an important part of the UOPSA sisterhood.

Saturday began with Holy Mass and continued with the Annual General Meeting (AGM). The AGM provided an opportunity to reflect on the association’s accomplishments, discuss chapter activities and organizational priorities, and look ahead to the continued work of UOPSA USA. The 2025 convention also highlighted the ongoing rebuilding and improvement projects at QRC Okoyong. The evening concluded with an elegant Gala Night, bringing Queens together to celebrate friendship, sisterhood, service, and their shared commitment to their alma mater.

Sunday brought the convention to a close with Thanksgiving Mass, followed by a joyful BBQ. It was a relaxed time for fellowship, photographs, laughter, and final moments together before members began their journeys home.

The 2025 Minnesota Convention reflected the spirit of UOPSA USA: faith, friendship, service, culture, and an enduring commitment to QRC Okoyong. As the National President expressed in her convention address, the gathering was an opportunity to reflect on shared achievements, strengthen connections, and continue making a meaningful impact in the association, QRC Okoyong, and the wider community.
