The Okoyong Past Students’ Association USA (OPSA USA) was founded in the early 1980s by a dedicated group of former students of Queen of the Rosary College (QRC), Okoyong, Mamfe, Cameroon. United by their shared love for their Alma Mater and the enduring bonds of sisterhood formed at QRC, these pioneering women recognized the need to create an organization through which past students living in the United States could remain connected, support one another, and give back meaningfully to the school that helped shape their lives.
In October 2014, OPSA USA was renamed the United Okoyong Past Students’ Association USA (UOPSA USA) under the auspices of Bishop Andrew Nkea, Bishop of the Diocese of Mamfe and proprietor of Queen of the Rosary College.
Today, UOPSA USA brings together past students of Queen of the Rosary College living across the United States. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, we are committed to strengthening the bonds of sisterhood among our members while promoting the academic, economic, spiritual, and social development of girls and young women at QRC.
Through scholarships, educational support, mentorship, charitable initiatives, and other programs, UOPSA USA strives to create opportunities that empower the next generation and contribute to the continued growth and success of our beloved Alma Mater.
UOPSA USA is a branch of OPSA General, headquartered in the Republic of Cameroon, and proudly carries forward a shared legacy of sisterhood, service, education, and giving back.

OUR HISTORY
Ms. Lilian Ndasi Sibedwo

First National President of United OPSA USA
Ms. Lilian Ndasi Sibedwo made history as the first National President of United OPSA USA following the organization’s renaming in 2014. During her tenure from 2014 to 2018, she provided visionary leadership that brought significant improvements to Queen of the Rosary College (QRC), Okoyong.
Under her leadership, major projects included the construction of student toilets, renovation of Rosary Hall, kitchen, sick bay, and science laboratories, completion of the school library, modernization of the school entrance, and provision of bunk beds and medical supplies through chapter initiatives.
One of her most enduring achievements was the establishment of the Bishop Scholarship Scheme, which began with 10 volunteer sponsors supporting students in need.
Her leadership laid a strong foundation for United OPSA USA’s continued commitment to educational excellence, student welfare, and the development of QRC Okoyong.
