Excellence In The Education Of The Girl Child In Cameroon
Welcome to United OPSA - USA
United Okoyong Past Students Association (UOPSA USA) is a 501(c) 3 non-Profit Organization with members who are all past students of Queen of the Rosary College (QRC) in Okoyong-Mamfe, Cameroon (Africa).
This alumni association was established for the purpose of empowering the education, economic, and social development of the African child and women wherever members reside with particular emphasis in Cameroon.
The organization was born in 1976 in Cameroon by some dedicated past students who thought there was a genuine need to create a forum, where past students of Queen of the Rosary College could express their practical commitment to their Alma Mater and each other.

My fellow OPSANS and friends of United OPSA, welcome and thank you for visiting our site. We are proud alums of Queen of the Rosary Secondary School (QRC), a Catholic boarding school which is the first ever all girls secondary school in West Cameroon, which opened it’s doors in 1956 and has since then been educating strong women who have gone on to become devoted wives and mothers, as well as leaders, educators, doctors, diplomats and assorted professionals in their communities and around the word.
We, through our association United OPSA USA (UOPSA) aim to reflect the values embodied in the school’s motto “semper fidelis” (always faithful) in all that we do. As this association has evolved over the years, we have sought to remain faithful to the values we learned in QRC and as a result have emerged a stronger, wiser and more determined group of women. In the last 4 years, UOPSA has worked tirelessly to bring all QRC past students in the USA together under one umbrella and at the same time with the help of our donors raised funds which, working very closely with the proprietor of QRC His Lordship Bishop Andrew Nkea have transformed the face of QRC from a poorly maintained, rapidly dilapidating institution to a place and environment fit for the education of future Queens.
Our Impact
